Third year of Bachelor's degree in Product design at L'École de design Nantes Atlantique
Being useful: before knowing what I wanted to do, I knew what I wanted to be. It is with this idea in mind that I moved towards product and industrial design. It was the idea of creating to solve that seduced me. I believe in positive design, capable of addressing current and future issues by placing the user at the center of the creative process. I see design as open and accessible, as a free and inclusive field.
Guided by this vision, I started studying at L'École de design Nantes Atlantique in 2017 for a first non specialized year made to offer us a global vision of design. I was able to discover the fundamentals of different fields, most notably product design, the path I followed for my second and third years of specialization (2018-20), before undertaking a Master.
During these years, I acquired a methodology close to design thinking, and practical skills such as working with different materials, through individual and group projects. Practical examples include the angle grinder and the KISO ceramic service.
I was also able to start making my vision of design and aspirations a reality. Several project were developped throughout an inclusive outlook, such as Voluptuose and Contact. The BIVY emergency shelter touches a delicate issue that's extremely important to me. Qu/entity, a personal project, addresses the challenges of sustainable design.
It is towards this social and sustainable design that I wish to orient my approach.
